Lieutenant Governor to Present Medal For Young Volunteers
Six exceptional youth will receive the Ontario Medal for Young Volunteers, the highest honour a young person can achieve in the province.
This year's honourees are active in socially-conscious causes, such as advancing environmentalism and sustainability, fundraising and philanthropy. Each has made a difference through volunteerism and inspired other young people to take the lead.
The Honourable David C. Onley, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, joined by Charles Sousa, Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, will present the medals on
April 17 at a special Queen's Park ceremony as part of National Volunteer Week (April 15-22).
