Renfrew County

November is essentially our big event month for Passport to Prosperity in Renfrew County.  Thus, we have opted to keep our original events for the month, which have been in the planning stages for months.   November 3rd, is our official P2P campaign launch and "Take our Kids to Work Day" breakfast for employers, students and educators.  This event will also feature two guest speakers - Pembroke Regional Hospital (2010 Employer Champion) and MyFm radio.  Both will speak of the benefits of participating in Expereintial Learning, as well as put out a call to the employers present and through the media to consider becoming part of this initiative.  ...

We will also be placing advertisements in several local newspapers using the ad developed by Hill & Knowlton as well as issuing a press release to each media outlet.  I have been delivering copies of the poster just recently sent out to all schools and several employers in the region. I will also be speakig to some Careers classes in my area.  Bob Viola
